Scarf and ring and holiday bling!
With the holidays here and parties in abundance, how are you dressing up? Here are two ways to wear a scarf to update an otherwise ordinary outfit for some holiday bling!
We start of with one of our bestsellers this season the henna horse. Part of our equine collection, it was inspired by the henna design and my love for horses. The black and white of the silk gives a very classic look and complements any solid color. I have used a simple black top with denim..
I paired it with one of my favorite rings from rings from BGBG that I bought a few years ago, but really any ring with sparkle will work. I loved how the black and white of the ring matched the design on the scarf itself.
A simple bias fold (you can see see how to do it here). Slide one of the edges through the ring.
Take the remaining edge and slide it through the ring in the opposite direction.
This makes it easier to handle.
Tighten the loop as needed and throw one edge back over the shoulder for a chic look.
Another look is inspired by a recent post of my Bordered Buddha scarf on a fabulous blog by Social and Style.
Taking the same scarf and ring as above ..slide both edges through the ring.
Then tie the smallest secure knot possible..
Slide your neck and one arm through the loop and arrange the silk to show the artwork, with the holiday bling of your ring!
Two simple and easy tutorials, which I hope you will be able to use during this festive season!
Have a wonderful time with family and friends.. and if you happen to be in the mood for some holiday shopping, come and visit us here.
